ANTI-MATION FESTIVAL (RETRO)
"I'm a comic art junkie. This show is dedicated to all the creators who gave us the newspaper comic strips and animated cartoons and movies of my youth. Each image was created in the classic animation cel style giving it a strange authenticity. It takes the characters in directions we normally wouldn't see them go. I'm a brat so I took them there. This is called an Anti-Mation Festival so that people would understand first off, that these images were NEVER used by their creators or in any type of proper setting. The original show debuted at THEbeat Coffee House in Youngstown, Ohio and was quickly followed up with a series of character nudes called PEEP SHOW at the Banana Rodeo Gallery which I curated and never apologized for. All works were created in the spirit of fun and not designed to be malicious."
