Interview with Chris Yambar about his Familiar Spirits Show at the Arms Family Museum. The show includes art created from the Carrie Arms and Caleb Wick Oak Hill Cemetery Statuary. The show runs January to June 2019
In November 2018, Chris Yambar submitted 3 paintings to be in a contest for 1340art Magazine in the Netherlands. As a result, the magazine contacted him because of the "high caliber" of his work, and asked if he would like to be represented by 1340art in their gallery for one full year.
Of course Chris accepted their offer. The 1340art Gallery offers global exposure from the Nedtherlands. Now Chris Yambar has 7 paintings, a sampling from all of his current shows, in the 1340art Gallery. They will curate his art until January 1, 2020.
In October 2018, we introduced Chris Yambar to Artistic Platforms magazine out of Pittsburgh, PA. Artistic Platforms was so thrilled to have someone like Chris, with his multi-talented background, in their November 2018 issue that they immediately sent him an interview and asked for photos.
The rest is history. Chris received a 13 page article showcasing his paintings, background in comics and writing and Chris just having fun. The interview is a really interesting and fun article as well. Just like Yambar himself, always moving forward and having fun while doing it.
